Golden, crispy, and filled with melty cheese, these Garlic Parmesan Cheesy Potato Balls are the ultimate bite-sized comfort food. Soft, fluffy potato centers are seasoned with garlic, spices, and parmesan, then stuffed with gooey gouda and coated in a crunchy panko crust.

What Makes Them Special?
This version stands out because of its balanced seasoning and crispy coating. The potato mixture is packed with garlic, onion, parmesan, and spices, ensuring flavor in every layer, not just the crust.
The use of panko breadcrumbs creates a light, airy crunch that stays crispy after frying. Combined with the melty gouda center, it creates a perfect contrast of textures.
Important Note
Make sure the potatoes are fully cooked and cooled before mixing. If they are too warm, the mixture can become sticky and difficult to shape.

Serving Suggestion
Serve these potato balls hot and fresh, topped with extra grated parmesan and a sprinkle of parsley. Pair them with dips like garlic sauce, spicy mayo, or a simple yogurt dip for contrast. They also work great as a side dish with grilled meats or salads. Best enjoyed immediately while the cheese is still melted.
Pro Tips for the Perfect Results
Cool the Potatoes – Prevents sticking and makes shaping easier.
Keep Cheese Small – 5–7 g cubes melt perfectly without leaking too much.
Seal Well – Make sure the cheese is fully enclosed to avoid leaks أثناء frying.
Use Medium Heat – Ensures even cooking without burning the coating.
Do Not Overcrowd – Fry in batches for the best crisp texture.
Season Every Layer – Flavor both the potato mix and the coating.
Ingredient Notes
Potatoes – 500 g peeled potatoes form the soft base of the recipe.
Cornstarch – Helps bind the mixture and improves texture.
Parmesan – Adds a salty, nutty depth to both the filling and coating.
Panko Breadcrumbs – About 60 g (1 cup) for a light, crispy coating.
Gouda – Melts smoothly and creates the perfect cheesy center.
Eggs – Help the coating stick properly.
