Ingredients
Banana Bread
3 ripe bananas
250 g all-purpose flour
100 g unsalted butter, softened
20 g milk
40 g brown sugar
120 g white sugar
100 g chocolate chips
100 g heart sprinkles
2 medium eggs (size M)
7 g baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 packet vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)

When to Cover with Foil (And Why It Matters)
Because this loaf bakes for a longer time, covering it with foil toward the end is important. The sugars and chocolate chips on top can brown too quickly, while the inside still needs time to bake through. Loosely covering the loaf after about 45 minutes keeps the top soft and prevents burning while the center finishes baking perfectly.

Instructions
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter and mix well. Stir in the eggs, followed by the vanilla extract.Add the brown sugar and white sugar and mix until fully combined. Next, add the flour and baking powder and gently fold everything together until just combined. Do not overmix. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips and heart-shaped sprinkles evenly throughout the batter.
Bake
Pour the batter into a lined loaf pan. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips and heart sprinkles on top. Bake at 180°C (top & bottom heat) for about 55 minutes.
After 45 minutes, loosely cover the loaf with aluminum foil to prevent overbrowning.
Rest & Cool
Remove from the oven and let the banana bread cool in the pan. Slice once fully cooled for clean cuts and the best texture.
