The homemade Crunchwrap Supreme brings Taco Bell vibes straight to your kitchen! Crispy on the outside, cheesy and creamy on the inside, with a satisfying crunch from Doritos. Perfect as a fun dinner, snack, or party treat. This recipe makes 3 wraps and is easy to follow with exact ingredient measurements.
Why These Potato Balls Are Special
- Layered Flavor: Ground beef cooked with bell pepper and tomato paste, combined with creamy cheese and fresh veggies.
- Crispy Dorito Crunch: Use Doritos Sweet Paprika (the slightly spicy edition) – it really makes the flavor pop and adds an irresistible crunch. This is my secret tip for the ultimate taste!
- Easy to Fold & Cook: Small tortillas seal the filling perfectly, preventing spills while pan-frying.
- Customizable: Add extra cheese, jalapeños, or more Doritos for your favorite crunch and spice leve
Serving Suggestion
Serve immediately while hot. Perfect with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping.

Tips for the Perfect Crunchwrap
Edges Stick Better: A few drops of water on the small tortilla help it stay closed.
Golden and Crispy: Cook on medium heat to prevent burning.
Extra Crunch: Add more Doritos or jalapeños for spice.
Prep Ahead: Have all ingredients in bowls to make assembly smooth and clean.

Ingredients (makes 3 wraps)
Filling:
300 g (10.5 oz) ground beef (mixed fat)
10 g (2 tsp) butter
30 g (2 tbsp) tomato paste
15 g (2 tbsp) green bell pepper, finely diced
60 g (about 18 Doritos chips, 6 per wrap; optional more)
130 g (4.5 oz) cream cheese
40 g (1.5 oz) lettuce, shredded
1 large tomato, finely diced
6 slices processed cheese (2 per wrap)
Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder to taste
Wraps:
3 large flour tortillas
3 small round tortillas (for sealing the wrap)
A few drops of water (to help seal)

Instructions
Cook the Beef: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown slightly. Stir in tomato paste and diced bell pepper. Cook 4–5 minutes until beef is fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Assemble the Wraps: Lay a large tortilla on a flat surface. Place 1/3 of the beef mixture in the center. Add 6 Doritos on top (more for extra crunch). Spread cream cheese over the filling. Add shredded lettuce and diced tomato. Top with 2 slices of processed cheese.
Seal the Wraps: Place a small round tortilla on top of the filling. Fold the edges of the large tortilla inward around the filling. Tip: Lightly brush the edges of the small tortilla with water to help seal the wrap.
Cook the Crunchwrap: Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat (or use a tiny bit of oil). Cook each side for about 3 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
