With a bright lemon kick, a peppery punch, and a creamy dipping sauce, these wings are guaranteed to be a hit.
Whether you’re planning a movie night snack, game-day platter, or just treating yourself to something flavorful, these wings are easy to make, healthier than deep-fried, and irresistibly delicious.
Why These Lemon Pepper Wings Are Special
Crispy Without Frying – Thanks to cornstarch and the air fryer, you get crunchy wings with minimal oil.
Fresh & Zesty Flavor – Lemon zest and juice brighten the wings, balancing the richness of the chicken.
Peppery Kick – Black pepper adds just the right amount of heat without overpowering.
Creamy Dipping Sauce – A blend of butter, yogurt, and mayo makes the perfect drizzle or dip.
Serving Suggestion
These wings are best served hot and crispy, straight out of the air fryer. You can dip them into the creamy lemon sauce or drizzle it over the top. Pair them with a fresh side salad, fries, or some crusty bread to make it a full meal.

Tips for Perfect Wings
Don’t Skip the Cornstarch: This is the secret to extra crispy wings in the air fryer. It creates a golden, crunchy coating you can’t achieve without it.
Use Organic Lemons: Since we’re using both zest and juice, organic lemons are best – they’re unwaxed, more aromatic, and give you that pure citrus flavor.
Add a Touch of Honey: Brush a little honey onto the wings before they go into the air fryer. It helps with caramelization and adds a subtle sweetness that balances the tangy lemon and pepper.
Finish with Parmesan: A sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan right after cooking elevates the flavor, adding a savory depth that pairs beautifully with the lemon zest.
Marinate Longer: 30 minutes works, but overnight makes the chicken even more flavorful.
Storage: Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat them in the air fryer to bring the crispiness back.
